In these changing times Rule #1 Conduct yourself like a gentleman at all times while on PTT... (Off PTT you're on your own) Rule #2 You must maintain a valid mailing address AND Email address at Kp headquarters. If you don't have an Email address, then you must maintain a valid phone number. If you don't have a phone number,,, then you must be in the jungle.
we have to add a couple group rules to insure our survival.

Things to know in Advance .
Kp Dx Group is not a QSL oriented Dx Group. If you are interested in membership in order to receive QSL's from Kp members in most wanted Caribbean countries, or to participate in activities such as special activations and special events, the Kp Group is not for you.
For Dx most wanted countries, special activations, special events, and thousands of interesting QSL cards, and up to date "Black Lists". These are "the best".
Our members believe that QSO, Friendship, and cultural exchange is #1, ... collecting QSL cards is secondary.
For this reason Knight Patrol does not issue country prefixes to our call signs. Each QSO represents a possible friendship, not a possible QSL exchange. Therefore, a "country prefix" is not needed. It is of no importance from which "country" the signal is transmitted.
What IS important is "the live person" pressing PTT.
We are different than most Dx groups. Kp members for the most part have been on the 11 Meter band for many many years. The thrill of collecting QSL cards is long gone. However, Kp members will send an occasional QSL, and most will send a QSL when asked.
The most powerful capability of your radio, is the ability to make, (and keep) many friends on the band. This can only be achieved through "QSO", and not "QSL".
Many Dx Groups require a certain amount of countries confirmed by QSL in order to enter their group. This is their method of confirming that you are worthy of membership.
There are no "QSL" requirements to join Knight Patrol International. However, you must have at least two (2) written recommendations from Kp Members, or one (1) recommendation from a Kp Director, to enter our Group. The recommendations can be submitted by normal mail, or Email. find a Kp member on the air, operate like a gentleman and they will be happy to send email in your behalf.
You will appreciate this policy once you have been accepted as a member.
